DELIVERY TIMES – PLEASE READ THIS
Your order has to be ordered in from suppliers countrywide and as such there is a lead time in getting your order to you . Note that shipping times to us are guidelines only and while we will try our utmost to keep to the schedule and to speed up the process , we are bound to external processes beyond our control such as supplier response times and their ordering/warehousing systems , courier delays , supplier short deliveries and wrong stock deliveries. These types of errors are an exception that do not happen often but we wish convey a realistic understanding of how long your order will take. The lower prices you will enjoy when ordering online comes with a waiting period for your delivery.
We update stock quantities daily, however there could be cases when our suppliers do run out of a product due to multiple orders processed at the same time and / or the delay between web updates. When this happens a replacement product will be suggested or a refund offered.
When placing an order through our site, you will notice that the initial order status is “Processing” which is to be treated as refundable deposit until we can secure your stock from our suppliers. After we have secured your stock your order status will be changed to “Payment Finalized” and your order will be secure . Until your order status has been changed to “Payment Finalized” your order is still pending and is treated as a refundable deposit.
All days given are business days and reflect the projected time it will take for your order to arrive at Zaps and be ready for collection . If you have selected delivery options , add the delivery time to the times below
Hardware Orders
Hardware orders will arrive at Zaps 1-3 working days after payment has been confirmed. Payment cut off times is 11H00. Payment confirmed Monday before 11H00 will arrive Tuesday / Wednesday (latest Thursday in special cases).
While the times above are the norm, it is dependent on factors beyond our control (courier delays , stock errors …)

AVAILABILITY OF GOODS
All products are subject to availability and may become “out of stock” between the period of your payment and payment confirmation. If we do not supply the goods for any reason and payment has been made we will refund any money already paid. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.
DELIVERY AND ACCEPTING GOODS
It is your responsibility to ensure that there is a responsible person at the delivery address to inspect and to sign for the order. We cannot accept liability for items that have been signed for in error. Please note that our couriers could bill you should no one be at the address on the day of delivery
PRICE CHANGES
Projected prices and configurations are subject to change due to rand fluctuations and stock availability.
Due to the nature of online shops, prices represent projected pricing and are listed as to be confirmed, as supported by your initial order status ” Deposit Accepted ” – if the cost of the landed goods are higher than the projected you will be given the option to cancel your order, or make a top up payment for the new amount
Once your order status has been changed to Payment Finalized the order has been confirmed and the order will proceed
WARRANTYS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS
All products are covered by the manufacturers original warranty. Please note that the final decision on swap outs / repairs / returns is made by the Manufacturer / Distributer and their decision is binding on the condition of sale .
Software/Games are strictly non-returnable once opened. They are treated as consumables. In the case of a faulty installation / keycode, we will refer you to the distributor helpline as the final decision lies with the respective distributor. They are the only ones that have access to their code databases and as such we cannot give support on the above items.
If the wrong products were dispatched by ZAPS, or if the dispatched products were faulty and notification is made 48 hours after delivery, ZAPS will replace the products free of charge and will cover all shipping charges.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the items purchased, you may return the products for a refund within a period of 4 working days. All products need to be sealed and in its original, unopened condition. The customer will be liable for the shipping charges to return the unopened product, and also for an additional handling fee of 20% for courier fees / supplier charges, please note that this is a supplier condition of sale. The acceptance of the return of any goods is at the sole discretion of the supplier and this clause shall not be used to imply that the supplier shall be obliged to accept the return of any goods.
The supplier of the item reserves the right to levy a handling fee of 20% of the purchase price of the relevant goods on such goods being returned to and accepted by the supplier. However, if the items returned are a standard stock item of ours , we will not charge you the handling fee ( Please verify your order before payment is made) The shipping and handling fee will be calculated by ZAPS and deducted from the refunded amount.
Working products will not be accepted for return if the packaging has been damaged in any way, as our supplier will not accept them. We are also unable to sell an item that has been opened as we only sell new products and in this way you can be assured that all items we sell are new. Under special conditions, and if the item is a stock item , we will accept the item back at a 40% return fee and will sell the item as a refurbished item. Under no condition are speakers returnable
All products supplied carry the Manufacturers Warranty and periods do vary between 6 months and 2 years .If you are unsure what the warranty of a product is, please feel free to contact our customer services at manager@zapsonline.com (011) 740-9919 and we will verify the warranty on the item in question.
Special warranty conditions apply to all electronic equipment. The warranty of the product(s) will be void if the items are written on or tampered with, or if the label or serial number has been removed. Please note that reattached labels, barcodes or serial numbers after accidental removal voids the warranty of the product.
A component will also be declared void and out of warranty if the product(s) are mishandled, if there is any physical damage or burn marks on the product or any evidence of being struck by lightening or power surges. All conditions that constitute a void of the warranty of the product(s) will be determined by the manufacturer/supplier of the product(s). Please note that if there is any physical damage to an item, it is sent back to us by our suppliers as “user damaged” and the warranty is void.

Electronic goods may be returned for testing during its warranty period. If however, the product is found not to be faulty, or if the product was mishandled or struck by lightening, shipping charges to and from the customer, as well as a handling fee of 10% of the product(s) value will be charged to the customer.
DVD’s, CD’s, Games and Computer Software cannot be returned for a refund once they have been opened, and will only be replaced (if defective) for the same product(s). All original packaging and extra material e.g. manuals must be included with the returned product(s). Any scratched discs will not be taken back
ZAPS cannot be held responsible for compatibility issues with hardware, software or printer cartridges pruchased. Please make sure that the product(s) being purchased is compatible with your current software, hardware configuration or printer. If a product was bought that is not compatible with your current software, hardware configuration or printer, the product(s) may be returned if the product(s) is unopened and still in its original packaging. The customer will be responsible for all the shipping charges, as well as a handling fee of 10% of the products value.
Manufacturers of LCD monitors / Products ( LG , SAMSUNG , ACER, Sony , HP …. ) do allow for a certain number of dead pixels on a monitor or handheld before they will consider a replacement . If you are concerned about the dead pixel policy from a manufacturer , please ask us before the package is opened as no claims will be considered once the seal on the container has been broken – this is a policy determined by industry and not by ZAPS
